A Bit of Background
I grew up in Southern California but because both my parents are from the valley, Phoenix has always been my second home. That's why when I was looking for colleges, going to Grand Canyon University seemed like the perfect home away from home. I went to GCU to major in English with an Emphasis in Professional Writing but I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it until I got the opportunity to work at the GCE Student Ad Agency as a Assistant Copywriter. That job put me on the career track I'm on now and I have absolutely fell in love with copywriting and ever since then I have been dedicated to practicing and developing my craft.
My Writing Approach
If I were to identify two strengths in my writing it would be my ability to brainstorm and my ability to write for many different clients and adapt my writing to any projects needs. During my time at the GCE Ad Agency I was often asked to meet with the full time staff to help with the brainstorming process for names of events, stores and eateries on campus, and even some menu items for the on campus coffee shop GCBC. I was also asked to create copy for many different clients which allowed me to develop the ability to be able to change my writing to match both the voice of the client and the audience the content is aimed at.
